District Wide Expectation (TBD)
Please be reminded that we are continuing the District Wide Expectation of incorporating student voice into Student Learning Goal-Focused Parent Teacher Conferences. A simple way to do this is to connect and align the student’s input into the conversation between parents and teachers via student goals in core subject areas, in addition to other subjects as needed and determined by the student.
All students are mandated to reflect on their performance and create a goal. The goals that students create will be used to drive or inform parent teacher conferences. In the event that the student does not attend the conference, the parent may bring the Student Voice/Student Led Parent Teacher Conference Goal Summary Document. Students are invited and suggested to attend their conferences.
Registration Requirements (TBD)
We will be using an online scheduling system to provide parents and guardians with the ability to pre-register for the most convenient time frame. It is very important that parents include a personal email - do not use your child’s Scholars’ email account. Parents/guardians who have children in multiple grade levels/cohorts should schedule ONE time slot per student at least one hour apart. Once the Registration Form becomes available, please reserve your time slot as soon as possible as they fill up quickly!
Avoid double booking appointments (time-slots) for the same child to avoid inconveniences.
Parents and guardians who pre-register must “check in” with a printed or electronic copy of their appointment on the day and time of the event.
